Doom-Ed

In an interview Todd Hollenshead announced that the Doom movie script is close to final and that he becomes more and more confident that we will see DOOM at movie theaters before the end of next year.

John Carmack’s keynote for QuakeCon 2004 is presented, just 2 days after his first son, Christopher Ryan Carmack (called Ryan by his parents), was born.

In the midst of QuakeCon 2004 congratulations went to John Carmack and Anna Kang on the birth of their first child. Ryan was born this morning, weighing in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

It is hoped that Christopher Ryan Carmack will be a valuable addition for the next QuakeCons.

Doom 3: A Helluva Tech Demo

According to idsoftware.com, the id store is now shipping to the following countries:

Mexico, U.K., Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Iceland, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia.

Not all countries from Europe are in the list, I’m inclined to blame censorship for that.
